Apache Knife Combat Scouts is the art of being able to follow and hunt down a man by following his path and signs left behind.

How is combat tracking / mantracking different from tracking animals? Animals do not conceal their tracks and have set characteristics, but the enemy is cunning and skillful and is capable of concealing his tracks.

The art of tracking is not new. The tactical employment of trackers is not new either. Native American Indians Scouts were used in US. Military, Korea, Vietnam and yes Rhodesia to name just a few.

Trackers prove very successful because they were able to pass back valuable information such as strength, speed, and other pertinent information required to successfully bring the fight to their enemy and destroy.

Tracking can be an effective Law Enforcement Tool in situations where an escaped inmate may be on foot, or during the investigation of offenses such as murder, burglary, terrorism and more. Often, we in our profession may be called to look for lost persons, such as hunters or children who have wandered off. The basic techniques are the same. We can not teach tracking in the time frame set aside for this training. We can only teach the basic techniques which must be applied. For one to become an experienced tracker, it will take years of experience to master these techniques.

 A. K. C. S. Apache Knife Combat Scouts

This Class is a Comprehensive, Extreme Close Quarters Combat course that deals with defensive Hand-To-Hand Combat, use of knives is extensive throughout the class and students will be Instructed in both unarmed defense against a knife attack and use of the knife as a Weapon of last resort. This is a hard-core Bare Bones Fighting Course so Expect the Bumps and Bruises that will result.

 

APACHE KNIFE COMBAT CONDITIONING

The environmental factors of terrain and weather are complex and unforgiving of errors. Fear robs an individual of their strength, while the other stresses of Knife combat cloud the ability to think and act. The battlefield is the ultimate fighting championships. An event more physically demanding, that requires more strength or endurance and will test the human character past limits that no Olympic or professional athlete will ever endure. A Knife combats where there can be no second place finishers. That is the harsh reality of Knife combat.

A key element of the Apache Knife program is combative conditioning. Combat conditioning that goes a level beyond our current physical fitness program. It combines the physical fitness dividends of combative arts training with those of traditional physical fitness, water and mod survival training, and rough terrain skills training. It is designed to mitigate the human factors experienced during combat that have a physically debilitating effect on the human body, allow a Apache to fight in any terrain and under any climatic condition, and face the rigors of the dispersed battlefield encountered in modern Knife combat.

GRANDMASTER Robert Redfeather's presence alone is one that demands the respect of anyone he meets. I personally am very honored to have him as my teacher, and have the utmost respect for him and all of the Ghostdog Family. Mr. Redfeather's experience speaks for itself; anyone who is serious about learning how to knife fight with realistic expectations of survival and not of evil intentions, I highly suggest asking Mr. Redfeather if he would be willing to teach you. From my professional Military viewpoint, this knowledge is essential for Martial Arts Instructors, Close-Combat Instructors, Hand-to-Hand Instructors, Defensive Tactics Instructors or whatever system your agency uses. Your students deserve and need to know how to protect themselves, their brothers, and their families.
